A typical bar of the pre-gentrified Aberystwyth. The atmosphere for students is, it must be said, it at times fantastic. However, the main issue found here is the lack of cleanliness. The toilets are, to be frank, a disgrace. Get them sorted and give the place a good clean. I also question the actual brands of alcohol served here despite what the optics display, staff regularly reach behind them to serve hidden bottles... dodgy
Cash only. Probably the most unhygienic pub I've been to, but I go there every night out because they also have the cheapest drinks I've ever seen, and if you want cheap drinks and don't mind how gross it is (especially the bathroom) then I would highly recommend Downies
