Its not often I post things like this however I need to get my point across. Im not sure whether its a generation thing however I was absolutely appalled by the behaviour of certain bar staff last night... ESPECIALLY a bar maid(unfortunately I dont know her name to name and shame). Good manners cost nothing, and hearing the way she rudely spoke to various other customers was boiling my blood. Customer service is key in a place like this, and unfortunately I will not be coming back and I am not satisfied.
Warm and cozy haven on a cold winter's day! The ambience was lovely and the atmosphere was friendly with families streaming in at all times. The food portions were massive and we got done great deals on the drinks. I would recommend you order through their app whiles you're there.
Average pub. Cannot really comment on the quality of the food as I only went there for a drink before my train was due. Excellent place to relax of your waiting for your train. Easy access to the platform so there is no need to rush
No queues for a change and were served almost immediately. Food was hot and beer/wine good. We only waited 10 mins or so before the food came out. Staff cleared the tables as soon as they were vacated. A vast improvement from the last time we ate there.
I have yet to meet a kinder group of staff! The food is consistent, and consistently good. There is disabled access to the rearward entrance (backing onto the train station), and there is an almost homely atmosphere. This is not your average slapdash spoons. Go here, I cannot recommend it enough
