Stayed for two weeks comfy room good food friendly staff
A modern yet rustic bar. An excellent selection of cocktails. Food is adequate but nutritious.
It was a particularly warm day and a pint was calling me I was disappointed because there were no ales, just a standard bitter. Still the thirst won over and I enjoyed my pint. I imagine that at night, this place is rocking with students from the local uni: the music and the enormous cocktail menu had "student" written all over it. The food menu looked great though with lots of choice and bargain prices......
Make nerdy drinks like an "ewok" or a "hulk". Walked in, asked for a "minion" based drink and they didn't have one, but the bar guy knew which liquors and colours and such to mix to get a blue/yellow drink that was banana flavoured. It was immense. Lovely bar, not high class but definitely a homely pub. The staff are amazing too, really catering to their customers. I would definitely go back again.
Lovely little B&B right on the Aberystwyth coast. All rooms have recently been refurbished to a high standard, with a good bar downstairs. It's family run as far as I can tell, so checking can sometimes be a bit slow, just ask for a member of staff. Continental breakfast is cool at 5, it's brought to your room and there's plenty of it, no need for a greasy fry up from somewhere. Would definitely stay again.
