The place itself is nothing fancy. Its modest but quiet, very clean and comfortable, which to me its absolutely all what I have been asking for in my whole my life when travelling. The mattress was surprisingly very comfy for a single room in a budget hotel, and good blackout on the windows for those like me that cant sleep if the room is not dark enough. The owner is present, helping, nice, able to advice, and went over and beyond to help me that night. I was travelling with my motorbike and he even has a garage to offer for putting your motorbike at safe over night. I found this place with vacancies at 8,30 pm, which is a plus. Breakfast included was full English cooked, just what a rider need planning a nice ride ahead in the beautiful Wales. The town is better than I was expecting, worth a short stop with a pretty promenade and a fascinating castle facing the promenade...this just in front of the guest house! All in all, highly recommended for a stay in the local area without being ripped off and in a place very very clean, comfortable with a very nice and helpful owner
During our time in Wales, this was the best place we were staying at. Great people, nice, friendly, helpful. Very good welsh or vegetarian breakfast. Clean rooms, every day service. The location is almost directly at the beach, 70m to the Aberystwhyth castle ruins. Great!
