Excellent staff let my mum use staff toilet in an emergency. Top marks!! P.s. we also did our shopping there.

I can't shop here anymore As much as the staff are lovely, I'm not surprised they are basically sleeping on the tills after having heard of their 10+ hour shifts constantly. Worked to the bone yet the shop just never seems like it has staff working in it with the messy isles and no stock on the shelves. As the majority of staff here are nice, minus the mouthy over the top possibly high Scouser , i can't express my anger enough over the bearded manager who served me whilst chatting away on mobile phone because of his car issues! Talk about being rushed through my sale and only wanted some cash back which he seemed annoyed at me for because he had to divert his attention from his phone call to me, and twice he pressed no to cash back just to get me away from his till. I've shopped here for many years on and off ,but I refuse to support this store anymore.i don't know what's happened, but the last couple of months shopping here has been dreadful.
Great place for university students and people looking for food at affordable prices. But it can be difficult to find exactly what you're looking for without asking for assistance. There were also wasps flying around many of the aisles due to them being attracted to the fruit and veg
Called in here today at about 3pm, have to say this shop was in a right mess , empty boxes just thrown any where . Very poor selection in fruit & veg , yes I know it was late in the day but I'm sure what they did have could have been tidied up to at least look presentable. An extra till was opened to deal with the large queue ; unfortunately the person who was to operate this till was too busy to do so as she was assisting on another till & arguing with a customer who was told she couldn't have a refund !!!!. Very off putting experience which I shall not be following up .
