John and his team undertook the complete refurbishment and redecoration of the living room in our traditional Ceredigion farmhouse. This involved re-plastering the ceiling, repainting the exposed rafters and supporting beams, installing LED lighting above the beams, concealing previously exposed electric cables and radiator pipework, repainting all the plastered walls and renovating the solid American oak floor that had been laid some 40 years previously. Being an old stone house surprises were to be expected. The project proved more complex than originally envisaged and as a result, it took longer to complete & went substantially over budget. John and his team were always polite and considerate, and we remained in the house throughout the refurbishment. The job has been completed to a high standard and we are delighted with the finished result. John was full of good ideas. His suggestion for the LED lighting was an inspiration; it has transformed our living space. He also provided extremely helpful advice about colour schemes & making features of exposed wooden lintels. The entire operation was accomplished very professionally by John and his team and we highly recommend him.
John was able to undo a lot of previous poor work done to our house exteriror and make it better. He, and his employees, are one of the few trade services businesses in Aberystwyth area that I will be letting back into my house because what he does is said on the side of his van. He has vastly restored my faith that some still have a sense of pride in their work and excellent customer service.
John and his team have just finished painting the exterior of our very tall three storey house with difficult access. Nothing was too much trouble and we loved their can do attitude. For so many reasons it wasnt a wholly straightforward painting job. Other issues ( that we knew about) kept cropping up . A bit of storm damage to the roof, a chimney problem etc. None of it fazed John or his team. They simply got on and sorted the problems and if they couldnt , they knew someone who could. They worked hard, quickly and thoroughly. They came when they said they would . The team were a pleasure to have around. They have been very committed to producing the superior finish. Our door ( which was not part of the painting job) looked a bit tired in comparison to the lovely new paint. One of the team took it upon himself ( without being asked) to clean it and tidy it up. We have been very, very impressed and would not hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend or share photographs of the work . Nicola James

John done a great job on our lounge and kitchen, the quality of work was outstanding at a price that was very reasonable. From start to finish the job was done with no mess and the after care was a bonus aswell, John made sure all was OK after a couple of weeks later. I would highly recommend him to anyone thinking of getting some work done on their house.
