Extremely unfriendly staff , was eaiwait for my coat from cloakroom for 40-50 minutes , because they couldn't find it . After I start complaining , I was told if I wouldn't stop my coat would be given last by a rude woman who presented her self as manager. Wouldn't recommend going to pier , yet there is not much choice in aberAberyst and they usonu it to their advantage, to be rude and unprofessional. I would give no starts if it was possible but one is a minimum.I will Certainly not go back to pier . Yoko's is much better.
This place is a dive. Worst thing about the place is the bouncers, who seem to use any opportunity to cause a scene and throw people out. I was once carried out by three bouncers just for looking up the stairs (as crazy as it sounds, it's true). I didn't understand this as the smoking area was open and I was sober. Will never go back.
They need to varry the music. Play some Mumford and sons.
Great sound system and lively student crowd
Not been in since its been refurbished but hoping that will change shortly. Place still gets a 5 out of 5 for nostalgia. Never the best with the house lights up but my, some fantastic times; memories made and lost here. Particular memories were of the dcor, smashed mirrors all the way up the stairs and never being able to hear your mates once inside. Love it.
