Dreadful service!CCW Solutions kept my laptop for almost a month without looking at it. If they had told me they were too busy I could have taken it somewhere else. When I phoned to ask about it I was told again and again that they would phone back next day with an update, but nobody ever called back. The lady answering the phone was very polite and apologetic and assured me that THIS time somebody would call, but no. Just as I decided to pick up the laptop and take it somewhere else, the shop closed for two days without warning or displaying a notice to say how long it would be closed for. There was no answerphone message- the phone just rang out. When it finally reopened I phoned to arrange collection; I was polite but the guy in charge did not offer any explanation and could not care less about the inconvenience he'd put me through, or the appalling customer service. I really wish I'd seen the Google reviews before entrusting them with my laptop. I will not be using them again!
Poor service, didnt fix my problem took the laptop into town in Aberystwyth and was fixed in less than 24 hrs. CCW is useless people
This review may seem harsh but, frankly, it's intended to be. This level of service is simply not acceptable - the TL;DR (Too long, didn't read) for this review is that you should USE ANY ALTERNATIVE TO CCW SOLUTIONS (Multiple PC repair and IT specialists can be found within Aberystwyth town). I would leave 0 stars if I could. I had my PC in this shop for just shy of AN ENTIRE MONTH and not a thing was done to it, I called up every other day in an attempt to find out what was actually happening but when I requested a call back but entire weeks would go by without any effort to made to contact me. The issue I had was very simple and in the space of 3 weeks a nutless monkey could have fixed it, but not one iota of effort was made to even look at the PC in the first place. I was even fed a lie that another CPU had been ordered to test the system but this turned out to be entirely false!I am leaving Aberystwyth permanently at the end of this week (thank god) and had to collect my PC from the shop - no apology was offered, nor any excuse just the typical rude, ignorant and unintelligible Andrew (who, when asked if he had managed to find the problem) responded in Andrew's typical gormless fashion "Nah", then proceeded to squeeze himself through the door into the back of the shop mumbling to himself. On the handful of occasions I was able to speak to the owner, the same level of ignorance and rudeness was on display and despite myself being polite at every turn, it made no difference in the end. The behaviour of Andrew when I collected my PC was the final straw, hence the need to post a review so that other potential customers understand the reality of 'CCW Solutions'. I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING - THERE ARE MULTIPLE COMPUTER SHOPS WITHIN ABERYSTWYTH WHO WILL OFFER MUCH BETTER SERVICE AND EVEN ACTUALLY ATTEMPT TO FIX THE PROBLEM IN THE FIRST PLACE! I have used numerous PC repair shops over the years but never have I experienced such a degree of ignorance, I honestly question whether Andy or the minions that work under him have any expertise that would justify running 'CCW Solutions'. The name alone is ironic as the only 'solution' here would be to shut up shop entirely, although with this level of service and the clear lack of expertise to even fix the most basic of problems, I would stake a good deal of money on this dump closing down within the next couple of years. I had every hope that the PC would be fixed or, at the very least, the problem identified so I could fix it myself but in the end I am left thoroughly disgusted and, in my opinion, by the way in which Andrew conducted himself he should be utterly ashamed.
